This week we went back and explored the Six Mile Run Reservoir Site. We explored a different portion of the site. I was blown away with the beauty that this site has to offer. The more and more preserved land that I see makes me so grateful that this land is put aside and not developed. This area is unique because the land has not been cultivated in almost forty years. Having been to so many man-made parks, a visitor will truly see the difference in a preserved area state park and a man-made park. Both are wonderful to visit, but I feel strongly that more of an effort must be made to put aside undeveloped land for future generations.
I hope you enjoy the pictures! See you soon.
